Have you tried anything from Victoria Beckham Beauty? If not, are you curious about it? Share with me in the comments, I'd love to know your opinion.

I just finished Victoria Beckham's documentary on Netflix and of course I loved it. I was all about Ginger Spice (Geri Halliwell) thirty years ago but as the Spice Girls split, I become fonder and fonder of Victoria Adams, the artist, turning into Victoria Beckham, the mother and wife. I loved her more and more as she ventured into living in other countries and onto new endeavours such as fashion and beauty.

I have never tried on or purchased anything from her fashion brand - it is really not for my bigger body type - but speaking of beauty...

This could be another "Influenced by Andreea Ali" article, as the make up artist raved about several products from Victoria Beckham Beauty throughout her videos. Indeed, Andreea is eclectic and uses lots of brands, but you feel the glitter in her eyes when she mentions a few of them, and this one always makes her sparkle. Unfortunately, Victoria Beckham Beauty does not deliver to Portugal or Angola and I could not access the products.

Where to go for shopping in Paris?
Candles, perfumes, shoes, tea, exquisite leather goods... you name it, Paris has it! Here are my favourite spots and goods to buy.

My first experience at Le Bon Marché in Paris

Travelling to Paris in January was the moment to try the brand and... purchase a few products to bring back home. I have to say I had never seen or tried or invested in such expensive products but VBB delivers not only as a makeup brand but, through its partnership with Augustinus Bader, also works as deep skin care.

Augustinus Bader is a German biomedical scientist and physician who is a leading expert in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. He is the founder of the popular luxury skincare brand Augustinus Bader, which is based on his groundbreaking research into healing skin trauma without scarring. His work led to the development of a medical wound gel in 2008 and inspired his skincare line, which uses a patented technology called TFC8®.

Moreover, I tried a new contouring technique I use to this day, which you can check at the end of this article if you subscribe below.

I went to Le Bon Marché and as I approached the VBB counter, I was invited to sit and try their make up. I always love to take my time and sit at the counters to have a full-on experience from the brand, experiment new products and learn new techniques.

Beauty | It’s Charlotte Tilbury, darling!
Sharing not one, not two, but three stunning experiences with Charlotte Tilbury, a brand that makes us want to showcase our beauty with a Hollywood star bang! After getting the online, Paris & Lisbon hauls inspired by Andreea Ali, I’ve tried over 10 Charlotte Tilbury products.

What did I purchase at Victoria Beckham Beauty?

Starting with the complexion, the VBB make up artist applied the Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturiser by Augustinus Bader with the TFC8 skincare technology, in the Golden shade, which works perfectly with my complexion, giving it an instant and moisturised glow, perfectly primed for the makeup layer it is about to receive.

Then she applied the Concealer Pen under my eyes, which not only helps conceal by dark under eyes but works as skincare as well. The more you use it, the more you feel the effect for a brighter under eye. My shade is LM1, Light Medium with neutral undertones.

The Contour Stylus was the next step and the most eye opening for me. The stylus is a slim, targeted sculpting stick that takes the guesswork out of contouring, for smooth, controlled application. I was delighted when VBB make up artist taught me how to contour my face, especially my nose, the Victoria Beckham way. It is incredible how the technique really changes my morphology in an instant and, to this day, I replicate it. I show it all, as well as my shade, at the end of the article.

As for the blush, the Cheeky Posh Cream Blush stick was applied on me with a brush, in the shade Miniskirt. I did not buy just because I have a lot of blush to go through already in my extensive beauty apothecary but I loved the creaminess on application and the instant bonne mine it gave my complexion.

I was very interested in their Satin Kajal Eye Liners - the range of colours, the playing time and the staying power were mesmerising for me! Victoria's personal favourites are Cocoa (a decadent rich matte brown) and Cinnamon (a warm shimmer brown). If you look at her eyes and love it, that is what she is usually using. I purchased those two and then the VBB make up artist tried violet hues on me, with Orchid (a shimmering mauve) and Fig (a rich matte aubergine). I ended up buying the Orchid and I also grabbed Copper, a shimmery reddish gold, as I adore orange hues on my eyes. As I purchased all these liner crayons, a pencil sharpener was offered.

The final touch was the Vast Lash Mascara, a black volumising mascara. I also did not purchase this product as I also have a few mascaras back at home. As I only use one at a time every day as it has a short "life span", I don't buy these often. Unless the effect really wows me which was not the case, contrary to all the other products I tried that day.

Also, as I mentioned before, if I am ever ready to splurge one day on a perfume, it will be Victoria Beckham's San Ysidro Drive. One of the most stunning perfumes I have ever tried on in my life! So happy they gave me a sample after my purchase at Le Bon Marché.

Final Thoughts

All in all, a great experience. The products are wonderful, have a decent playtime and stay put on your face all day long. The glow is undeniable and your skin feels better after every make up session.

For the future, there are more recent products I have yet to try such as the new brushes, (the Bordeaux!) eye shadow and The Foundation Drops that is making waves on the internet at the moment. If and when I do, I will update this article and let you know.
