TV | The Traitors UK - Season 2 Review (Episodes 1-3 rundown with spoilers)

I almost cried as we tuned in to watch the first episode of Season 2 of the Traitors UK. We started watching it exactly a year ago whilst spending the most joyful sabbatical in Scotland, where it is filmed. We love Scotland ever since road tripping there for the first time in late 2018 around my birthday.
The Traitors showcases the best landscapes and sights Scotland has to offer and I am completely here for it. And after watching the US, Australia, New Zealand and Canada editions, I can confirm UK's is just unmatched in quality. Also, the only one that does not have famous people and that might be a secret for success as well. Although the New Zealand one has the most insightful faithfuls... some of them famous!
Alas, let's dive right in with my short reviews, for all episodes as I watch them. Sorry for the hecticness, but I am spontaneous like that.
Episode ONE
As I said prior, I almost cried. Nah, I have to be honest, I almost balled. The falconry scenes just set the mood and I am Claudia Wrinkleman's biggest fan. I mean, the bangs. The tan. The gloves. The style. She is out of this world gorgeous and perfect for this role. I also love that she doesn't imply this is her castle, like in the Traitors US edition.
Onto to the guests, arriving via train or on foot - how is that division done anyway?
Oh no, another psychic. There is one in every edition now and they are usually lame.
I felt the table scene was pretty crowded, cannot wait for at least 6-8 people to be gone so that I can at least remember everybody's names.
Who I thought was going to be a traitor: Diane, Miles, Zack and Ash!
I was only right about Ash. I thought Paul was too tall - as in, way too noticeable - to be a traitor but I stand corrected.
Diane is quite perceptive, she scares the -ish out of me.

Episode TWO
Miles! He seems such a sweetheart. He wasn't expecting to see the other ones as traitors - but who was he waiting to see anyway? He sure was not as comfortable as Harry on this murder!
Those breakfast moments are always so cringe, why do people who didn't know each other two days prior feel the need to deep hug at every sight?
Paul is such a fake saying he almost wanted to shed a (fake) tear. He might win this thing!
They were really getting scared of Aubry so I completely get their choice. He was in their scent, for sure. Next one should be Diane, she is very good at this!
Claudiaaaaaa, I love this knit and skirt look! And the high ponytail... I am into it!
Oh no Diane, giving all the juice to two traitors, Harry and Paul, boy oh boy. Why did she get so mad at Anthony just because of one episode even before the traitors were assigned? I mean, this is what I don't love about this game, people sack who they don't like, not who they really think is a traitor... anyway.
I loved the bird challenges. Speaking of birds, feathers are being rubbed the wrong way on the quest for the precious shield! Well done to the red team for coming forward and revealing they had the shield whilst they didn't have to.
First banishment. Castle Politics! Yes, let's do it. And with Claudia with a velvet suit, yes yes yes.
Sonia is the one taking the boot. She was lovely but I think there was a bit of heard mentality in this first banishment, even if votes were all over the place. I love how Claudia looked pissed at them.
Oh Zack, that "there is a mum and son in the Castle" theory seems so producer fed... How could he even suspect that? Diane and Paul look nothing alike.
Episode THREE
Oh so Kyra is the one who took the boot today. Well, that is what you get for being vocal in this game. But Diane is way more vocal, but as she is into Anthony at the moment, traitors need to keep her close for the moment. I wonder who she will sniff after this time wasting vendetta against Anthony.
Ash's name is being thrown around left and right and Miles & Harry will not take the brunt of it.
Here we go again with the psychics on this show. Tracey looks like a sweetheart - is she a sonographer because she hears sounds from beyond? - but the whole "your childhood impacts the adult you are today"... I mean, some on. Easy one. But it does make Ash uneasy. But Sonia also made Ash feel uneasy so there must be a trend here.
Oh I can't with this Paul being Diane's son...
oh my god WHAT????
She indeed had her son in the show and it is Ross? Oh that opening scene is so juicy now and also the advice she gave her the episode prior... Now it all makes sense. Hope they don't get caught and keep being discreet because they are both great players, especially Diane. But... is he going to say "Mum" at any point?
But again, how did Zack sniff this? As I said earlier, I think this was producer-fed.
Onto the challenge... contestants had to fill a survey and now they have to guest the most opted for answers... Tracey isn't the most into conspiracy theory, it's Zack. Makes sense with the whole mother-son duo plot. Mollie being a sheep doesn't surprise me. She really is. Oh no, it wasn't her, it was Brian. Who is Brian?
Who won the popularity contest? No surprise it is Paul. At least Jonny hasn't popped up that much on my screen to make him that popular but we never really know what is going on in that castle when the cameras are not rolling.
Oh that scarecrow scenarii was SPOOKY! I would get scared out of my mind, literally.
Ooooh, going back to the castle and Diane is into Ash now. She is in the money when she lets the Anthony idea go.
Ross complimenting the Sunday Roast and Diane saying that she ever comes around, she will love the one she makes. Ha ha ha!
All the names being thrown around the round table, these folks are scattered all over the place... but hey! to each their own.
Brian, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Nobody was that into you... what?! this game really messes with people's heads, boy oh boy.
Oh that look Harry & Paul gave each other and the way they went against Ash... I felt it in my core! I had never seen Traitors going against another so early in the game, especially when they do not have unanimity at the table... Miles voted for Brian...! Oh my God, what is going to happen... If Ash stays I will be soooo...
Oh no, they didn't cut at Anthony's last vote.... Arghhhh gotta wait a week now. I have the shivers.
