Influenced by... Fleur de Force!

I had not realised how comforting it was to find a new vlogger who feels like a friend and whose long videos feel short for me. This is what happened with Fleur de Force, new to me, OG to most.
Fleur is a famous beauty youtuber, considered one of the OG Youtubers of the United Kingdom, alongside Rosie the Londoner or Lydia Millen (both of whom I love)(for different reasons). I first heard about Fleur last year through beauty journalist Lydia Rose Hawken, as she was questioning in her video about former youtubers who had stopped posting or how they evolved through time.
Fast forward to stumbling upon Fleur's new Tiktok (and then her Youtube Channel) and I fell in love. I don't know about her past, but aside from being a beauty lover just like me, she is a mother and a lover of the finer things in life like stunning roadtrips to the countryside or family moments on the beachside. Her videos are genuine and do not have heavy editing, which I love to unwind after a challenging day at work or having as a background as I write my articles here during the weekends. I love how she incorporates her favourite fashion and beauty bits in every video whilst not minding appearing make up free or with beach wavy hair.
I wanted to comment a few of her latest beauty videos, as she has really gone back to vlogging more regularly lately.
Her European Spring/Summer Beauty Favourites
In order:
By Terry Tea to Tan Sun Powder Bronzer
I have to admit, I haven't have purchased or tested anything from By Terry but I know beauty lovers do love this brand. I can tell you I found this bronzer's packaging the most luxurious thing! As a bronzer, I have been using this one from Charlotte Tilbury and I am loving its creaminess. But will think about By Terry's if I empty it or stumble upon their beauty corner in a future trip as there are none where I live.
Naked Sundays Peptide Foundation Tint
I had never heard about this brand before but call me intrigued as I don't wear heavy foundation anymore, just one of the aforementioned CC creams will do these days. Love the glow finish Fleur shows on the back of her hand, it does look really good.

Rare Beauty Positive Light Liquid Luminizer
I have discovered Rare Beauty more recently as I have purchased their All-in-one Optimist Spray several times (and I love it!) and I have several matte nude lipsticks from the brand - shades Talented and Mate. But I have yet to try their luminizer, as the colours looks absolutely gorgeous. As a luminizer, I have been wearing the Instant Luminizer by Lumene. It's so easy to apply after my sunscreen (when I am not wearing make up) or my Erborian CC Cream à la Centrella Asiatica (Doré shade) or my Lumene CC Cream (Tan Shade) as well.

Kosas Lip Oil
I have heard a lot about this brand but I don't have anything from them. As a Tinted Lip Oil, I have been using the Lip Glow Oil Balms from Lumene as well and I love it, especially Shade 5: Raspberry.
Summer Fridays Pink Guava Lip Butter
I have never bought anything from Summer Fridays either. Aside from the aforementioned Tinted Lip Oils, as my daily Lip Butter, I use Laneige's Lip Mask in the evenings or before applying a lesser creamier lipstick in the morning. During the day, I reapply Charlotte Tilbury's Lip Oil when I remember it. It tastes so so good.
Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Aegea
Funny enough, I don't own anything from Estée Lauder. It's one of those brands, like Sisley or La Mer, I am saving for my older self. Why? Can't explain! I used to feel the same about Lancôme or Clarins, and look at me now, all hooked. Fleur raves about this fragrance but I am happy with the perfumes I currently have.

Her 2025 European Spring Beauty Empties
If you have been here for a while, you know I love beauty empties articles and videos. Fleur de Force just feeds me in that regards as she regularly posts about what she has been using and finishing. Here is her latest empties video:
In order:
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation
As mentioned before, I don't use foundation. And funny enough, I don't remember ever using a beauty product from Chanel. But Fleur mentions this foundation very often in her videos, you can see she is a genuinely a big fan.
Yepoda Dewy Day Niacinamide with SPF 30 Cushion Foundation
I had never heard about this brand before so not much to comment and I don't have any powder foundation with SPF 30. Yet.
Charlotte Tilbury Exagger-eyes Mascara
I have over 20 Charlotte Tilbury products and none of those are a mascara. I might need to change that soon enough!

Armani Beauty Vertigo Lift Mascara
I have been reading amazing reviews about Armani Beauty products for the past few years - their foundation a few years ago and now their eye tints! - but I have never taken the leap to buy anything. I might change that soon. In the meantime, I have been using this mascara from Lancôme.
Kerastase Ciment Thermique
I have purchased Kerastase for the first time last year. I always saw it as such a high end product that I took my time to take the leap and then I did with the Resistance Therapiste set for damaged hair. I purchased the shampoo, the hair mask and the serum. I have used the two first until the end and still have the serum. I would repurchase the set but I am taking my time (and saving some pennies to do so).

Oribe Gold Lust Dry Heat Protectant
Oribe Heatless Styling Balm
Oribe Supershine Moisturising Balm
I have never tried anything from Oribe but I am very intrigued by all the products she mentioned.
Garnier Hair Pineapple Hair Drink
I was a complete Garnier Fructis girl during my first years in France around 2001 and 2002. I loved how it made my hair feel but then I steered away towards black-owned products like Briogeo or with argan oil that my hair craves like the products from Moroccanoil. But I always have a good opinion about this brand in regards to hair.
Pureology Hydrate Treatment Mask
I had never heard about this brand before. As a treatment mask, I have been using Christophe Robin's Prickly Pear Regenerating Mask and I am happy with it.

L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil
I have been seeing this product come up so often in the past year on social media, everybody and their momma is raving about it. I have not tried it yet but knowing L'Occitane, I believe it feels and smells as luxurious as people convey. As a Shower Oil, my husband and I only swear by Bioderma's Atoderm Huile de Douche. We have a litre bottle each in our bathrooms and a refill in the apothecary as well so we are never out.

Bioderma Atoderm Shower Oil Bottle and Refill
Her overall Beauty Favourites for 2025
I love this more general roundup type of video:
Elemis Pro-Collagen Black Cherry Cleanser
I first heard about Elemis through blogger Mary Orton's videos. She absolutely raves about their products but I have yet to take the leap. And no, I don't wash my face in the shower, Fleur. The water temperature would just burn me, as I love cold water on my face, day and night.
Sunday Riley Aquamarine Melt Cleanser
I have never used anything from this brand but have been hearing about it for the past decade. As a Cleanser, I have been using La Roche-Posay's Effaclar H Iso-Biome Cleansing cream and then I will use one I bought from Lumene.

Clinique Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum
I love Clinique and have been a faithful client since first buying a white nailpolish from them at Woolworths in Johannesburg in year 2000. I love that their pastel flowery packaging is still the same almost 30 years later yet their innovation is unstoppable. I have tried their Moisture Surge moisturiser cream and eye cream but have yet to try the serum. As a serum, I have using Lumene's Nordic Berries Collagen one lately.
Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Moisturising Cream
This product just looks so rich on camera! As a Rich cream, I have been currently using Caudalie's Vinoperfect Dark Spot Correcting Glycolic Night Cream at night and I am very satisfied. Already on my 3rd purchase...
St Tropez Serum Tan
I have never self tanned in my life as I tan quite easily so I have nothing to say about this type of products. I am more focused on sun care and after sun care after all.

Yepoda Dewy Day Niacinamide with SPF 30 Cushion Foundation
Already talked about it above.
Boots Collection Concealer
I have never tried Boots' beauty brand before. As a concealer, I have been using Clinique's Even Better All-Over Concealer + Eraser and already on my second tube. I love it in shade CN 28 Ivory and I truly feel it works great when I let it sit on my face for a couple of minutes before dabbing it in.
Revolution Balm Glow Blush
I had never heard about this brand either. I like the creamy blush idea, it seems to be really comfortable to apply and Fleur also uses it on her lips. I love dual function products, they are a space and money saver!
Speaking of dual function products, as a blush, I have been using Lancôme's Eye Blusher in the Canyon Clay tint that works both as a blush and an eye shadow. And it lasts all day.
Armani Vertigo Lift Mascara
Already talked about it above.
Glossier You Fleur Eau de Parfum
I have never tried anything from Glossier before. But as mentioned, I am satisfied in the perfume department for now.
I love watching Fleur's videos and seeing what she is living and loving at the moment. It was a true joy to get through these videos for this article. What about you? Do you have any youtuber you spend your idle time with as well? And who has been influencing you lately? Do not hesitate to share in the comments, I'd love to read about it.
