South Africa Wineries | Wine Tasting at the exquisite Delaire Graff

We were too early for wine tasting at Asara Wine Estate & Hotel but we were right on time when we arrived at Delaire Graff Estate, just a 15-minute drive away. And what a gorgeous place we had before our eyes, set atop the Helshoogte Pass.

This place was conceived with the most exquisite attention to detail, from the stones, the materials, the sounds, the sculptures, the furniture, the orientation. It takes ones' breath away as soon as we leave the car behind.

We had a tight schedule for the day so we jumped right into the wine tasting experience firstly in their gorgeous Wine Lounge, that was empty. It made for a very private experience where all the attention was on us. Love it!

As the sun was shining and there weren't many guests, we asked to take it outdoors to continue with the experience which they happily obliged.

We grabbed a few bottles back home as well as some gorgeous (unpictured) Pear Chocolate bars. Although our visit was a brief one, we know we will be back to Delaire Graff to experience it all over again. And who knows, one day, even stay there for a night?
