I talk a lot about deodorants in this page - sorry if it makes you squeamish! But don't we all use it daily? Why not talk about it? - and I feel disappointed in myself for my love for spray deodorants, as I know those are not the best to use both for us as humans as well as for the environment.

Why I struggled with natural or organic deodorants?

I have tried organic or natural deodorants in the decade and most have failed me: they either left me stinky or sweaty in a couple of hours, which left me extremely self conscious. Back to my artificial Dove sprays, I was.

What inspired me to try again?

And then my husband bought himself a Wild Deodorant with a Fresh Cotton & Sea Salt refill. I tried it and loved it. So I had to purchase one for myself. I had heard about the brand Wild because Patricia Bright, one of my online financial gurus, was an early investor in the business. Man, I would love to have an eye for good businesses to invest in, but I digress.

I also saw Cecilia from Svalbarg mentioning it in a few of her beautiful North Pole videos. I was intrigued. I was glad to find the brand at Apolónia supermarket in the Algarve - of course, you can find ANYTHING there!

I chose the pink refillable case and the Cherry Blossom refill to start with. It smells so so good!

Discovering Wild

It's easy to set up and use, and it makes you feel clean after your shower and all day long. I am impressed and cannot wait to try other scents in the future. As a guilty lover of packaging and empties, this will make me pollute less and help me change my mindset. I will come back to this article in a few months to tell you my opinion on how it is going.
