My experience with Aime Skincare (with a 10€ discount for you)
A few years ago, I followed Mathilde Lacombe's journey into founding a new brand that would change Beauty and Wellness's paradigm in France: she launched Aime Skincare, or just Aime, in 2018. Aime is a very aesthetic refined brand champions the philosophy on beauty from within, on wellness and on feeling more confident about ourselves.

Past forward a few years and a dear friend (hey Jasmine!) talked about the very positive effects of one of Aime's "Glow" capsules on her skin and complexion. That is when I went from an online observer to taking the leap into becoming a customer. I proceeded with my first order in April 2024. What I bought:
- the Collagen Discovery Set - more on it below
- the Drainage and Detox 20 monodoses supplement - which got me into dry brushing
- Sleep & Glow, the stress & anxiety supplement - which I am still assessing to this day
At the time I had just recently tried powdered collagen and I was struggling to overcome my strong aversion for powdered drinks, to no avail. But I know taking collagen at the end of my 30s is essential for my skin and hair growth & health as I am not getting any younger. Collagen naturally declines as we aged and us women need to pay further attention to that deficiency, as it causes fine lines, wrinkles and decreasing skin tightness. You know, aging!
Alas no capsule supplements can bear as much collagen as powdered drinks do. Thus I was still brave enough to try it all over again with Aime's Collagen Discovery Set, to confirm if it was just about powder or the egg-y taste of collagen that was just not working for me. The website says it best...

Eager yet slightly apprehensive, I documented my experience as I went through each, calling it The Collagen Series on Instagram. I tried them all with water and blended with the help of a frother. It must be drank as soon as you prepare it so as you don't have liquid and powder separating and clogging.
Collagene Matcha Glow
I started with the one I knew I would like the least. I just can't with the taste of Matcha, so there's that. Access denied!
Collagene Glow
This is their neutral one. Not great tasting...
Collagene Pink Glow
Not only is the colour fun, but this one tasted like berries. It was nice. I was surprised to not feel yucky after trying a powdered drink.
Collagene Golden Glow
Having curcuma every day as a supplement is vital for me - I explain why here - so I really wanted to love this one as it would combine both ingredients in one go for me. It tasted very spicy.
Collagene Cacao Glow
I had high hopes for this one as it had a "tastes like hot cocoa" promise. Yet I did not. But Bruno did!
Collagene Moccha Glow
This was the last one on the Collagen Series and little did I know that it would be best for last! I thought it was delicious and that Aime really hit the mark on that one!
Getting this pack was essential before purchasing a full-size protein powder and a great idea from Aime which I truly recommend before deciding on the flavour that suits your taste. And that is what I did as I purchased the Moccha one a few days later!
And with that purchase, I also got the Sleep & Glow, a sleep mist made with Neroli, Petitgrain and Camphor that I use daily on our bedroom, that I apply a few minutes before we go to bed. It smells delicious and my brain already self wired to understand that as soon as it hits, it's time to unwind and start my bedtime routine.
My latest purchase came at the end of the year, with two boxes of Collagene Golden Glow in 10 individual sticks each - it was a promo (2 for 1) and great for travelling, when you don't want to travel with the whole box around. And I also bought their Clear Glow supplement to help in my anti-pigmentation skincare routine.
