I left Instagram, I left Twitter, but my love for Tiktok?

Still going strong.

The algorithm is great, I am never bumped with an ad, and I just love video-format content.

A year ago, I shared with you 7 Tiktok accounts I followed and they were all Mom accounts, which I still follow to this day.

Tiktok accounts I love to follow | Moms Edition
These 7 Tiktok moms will brighten your feed as much as they do mine. From heartwarming moments to hilarious anecdotes, these “tell it like it is” or “aesthetic” inspiring moms are spreading love, laughter, and inspiration from around the world.

It's more than time to share a few more accounts I love, this time focused on women who are either married, engaged or single, but inspire me and create great content.

Each in their own way, they represent what feminine energy is to me: being and feeling beautiful, taking care of details, taking pride in our conquests, appreciating from the simpler to the finer things in life.

My favourites, in alphabetical order:

@ashley.paiige

@ashley.paiige: I was just following Ashley for a few weeks and still getting to know her through her content when the worst happened: her house was completely destroyed in the California fires at the beginning of the year. So what was supposed to just be a lighter account for me became a very meaningful one. From a woman recovering from a breakup and recreating her best life, Ashley made me confirm we were before the most resilient woman.

The positive way she stepped ahead in life, with the support of her lovely family and friends, really hit me warmly. Other than her bravery, Ashley loves beautiful things: a beautiful life, a beautiful house, beauty products (I love her Armani 22 Eye Tint tip! I need to find it!), pastel coloured designs in her furniture and her clothes and I am here for all these layers she shares with us.

@cleanwithmimi.k

@cleanwithmimi.k: I don't speak Norwegian - unfortunately - but I love Mimi's content and that she shares most of her daily life and routines in English. She focuses on two topics: beauty & skincare - which I love! - and cleaning - which is not something I particularly seek but Mimi makes me watch it.

Mimi made me buy Scrub Daddy and Scrub Mommy sponges I cannot wait to try. Mimi reminds me it's time to clean my makeup brushes.

I love her voice and how she narrates things with such honesty. I feel I am listening to a friend's audio note. Mimi has been through tough times - which she shared - so it's also a happy time that she just recently got engaged. I cried when she announced. I love engagements! Can you tell?

@emmaindubai

@emmaindubai: Except for a few layovers, I have never been to Dubai. But do I love Dubai TV shows and content? I do! My husband and I have spoken for the past few years about living in the Middle East in our professional future, so I like to be in the know of what is happening in that side of the world. As the algorithm on Tiktok is that good, that is how I stumbled into Emma's account, a professional living between Dubai and her native Scotland, where her husband still lives.

I mean, a Scottish woman in Dubai? I love anything Scotland-related, so Emma's accounts has two of the best worlds colliding. I love Emma's candid videos around her life, grocery shopping, golf playing and managing her long distance marriage with her husband Chris, who is such a good sport. Her casual "say hi, Chris" when her husband is on the screen? Iconic!

Also I love her long videos in Dubai's supermarkets, as I love doing hauls myself. One of my favourite accounts ever.

@frilancy

@frilancy: The bright smile. The shiny skin. The vibrant colours. The dancing moves. The love of wall art. Frilancy from Seattle has an impeccable and daring taste for fabrics and colours. I just cannot imagine the size of her closet, filled with great pieces from African designers I had never heard about before.

She makes me want to venture into this territory for the first time as I don't wear African designs. As an Angolan myself, I never thought I'd need to prove my African-ness through my clothes but now I kinda want to. And I know it's very inspired by this incredible woman. Watch this space!

@.jenwhite

@.jenwhite: I am so so so in love with this account! Jen is a sales professional in Chicago and she posts videos about her daily walks around town, getting ready for work, going out with her friends.

I have become so used to seeing Jen wake up, go straight to her Nespresso Vertuo machine (we have the same at home in the Algarve), get her coffee and head to bed for a bit of some quiet time before kicking her day and doing her bed. Whilst in bed!

Jen has a few signature moves such as the way she looks at the camera like a fourth wall. I absolutely love these details and look forward to them in all her videos.

I am motivated by her upbeat energy and how she is focused on living her best life. And how great that she shares it with us all.

@lydiamillen

@lydiamillen: Lydia should deserve a post on her own for me as I religiously follow her content on Youtube. But I like the edited-for-Tiktok videos she shares on this platform as well, where she gives way to her funnier side.

Lydia, a major English Countryside-based Youtuber for the past 15 years, is a big influence in my life in so so so many levels: I love her (current) clothing style, her countryside home decor, to the books she reads, her gardening skills and her classical music taste.

Lydia has a love for animals which is not something that I am usually looking into in my content (I don't have dogs, cats, bees, hens and a horse like she does!) - I like that Scottish cow hooves cleaning channel on Youtube tho! - but if she is sharing, I am watching.

Also, her husband Alistair "Ali" Gordon is a former electrician - major flex, as they are permanently renovating their house! - who is now a great videographer, beekeeper and has the most impeccable style. My husband and Ali share the same taste for clothes and apparel, so I also tend to check his content because of that similarity.

@oliviaamcdowell

@oliviamcdowell: I had first stumbled on her account in another platform so I was glad to find her on Tiktok and follow her. Olivia is a stunning woman living her best life in New York and beyond. She loves a curated lifestyle from her clothes to her beauty routines to hosting her friends. Even whilst cooking up a storm, she is so glamorous at it. I love the level of dedication and detail she puts into sharing special moments with her loved ones through homemade goods, bubbly drinks and florally decorated tables.

It also helps that Olivia and I share the same hair texture (even if I could never rock a bob like hers! it's gorgeous on her, it would look like a pyramid on me!). Even if I follow people from all continents and origins, it's also nice to have a few identifiers here and there.

Do you follow any of these stunning ladies already? Let me know your favourite TikTok follows or slide into my comments with your recs.

I'm always looking for more beauty, brains, and brilliant vibes and that could be just... YOU.
