#11 | Surviving the Ides of March 🔐

March was a challenging month health-wise, but the focus is onto good things: a very inspired show, a new way of enjoying cocktails at aperitivo time, what my bookclub is reading, audiobooks I loved, a new medical TV show (that will feel like old times) and best for last: our new upsized home!

Carvoeiro Beach in the Algarve, Portugal - March 2025

March came with a bang for me: as we were excited to move to our new house (more on that below!), I fell terribly sick with typhoid fever and painful engorged lymph nodes. The medication was even worse than the illness and knackered me at home for a week. And as soon as I started recovering from that, I got a flu. My immunity was at an all time low and it really surprised me after a year being the healthiest I have ever been. I still have some residual secondary effects from the medication I took but I am recovering and hoping for a better April. Aside from those unhealthy shenanigans, here are a few other brighter things that made life lately...
