Namibia is one of the most underrated countries in the world and one where we have had the best adventures in our life with a self-driving road-trip from the desert to the coast and back. We have also tried the "land and stay at a lodge being pampered" route and we loved it as well. This was the stay that blew us completely away. This is my full review of the lodge in Namib Desert we stayed at, with sweet pink details, plunge pools, desert views, wildlife sightings and the ultimate reward after long hot drives.
From chilly coastal dunes to scorching desert silence, we drove 300 km through Namibia’s most dramatic landscapes, crossed the Tropic of Capricorn, discovered the insolite outpost of Solitaire, and felt the desert (heat) like never before.
