What brand is this and why is it so good?

We first laid eyes on each other six years ago, in May 2019. I was spending a long weekend getaway with my then-boyfriend-now-husband around Vappu (1st of May) in Finland. We were strolling around the capital Helsinki and made a stop at the department store Stockmann. A pastel green brand completely caught my eye. Alas I couldn't buy it immediately that day.

Why, you may ask?
Not because I couldn't afford it but a recently self-diagnosed addiction to beauty shopping had made me promise Bruno I would not buy any beauty product I didn't really need. I (used to) easily fall in love with good branding, font, packaging and then hoard products I would hardly use. I still love everything beauty related but have learnt, throughout the years, not to make the deal with a purchase and adding things on a mental wishlist.

Fast forward 4 years, it was January 2023 and we were at a department store in Glasgow, Scotland. Bruno, as usual, was taking all the time in the world shopping for clothes (out of the two of us, I am a Speedy Gonzalez in regards to clothes shopping and would rather do it online anyway!) while I had already picked, tried and purchased a few pieces in a couple of minutes.
I was walking around the store waiting for him when I stopped at the beauty corner - something I avoid doing at all costs because I have since weened off my beauty shopping addiction. But I am still cautious. And that's when I saw it again, by the vegan and clean brands counter.
Lumene.
The memory of that travel to Finland came flooding. The colours weren't pastel anymore, they were brighter than ever. I hesitated - for a second - and I went for it. Opting for products I needed for real, which was eye cream. So I bought two. Large smile.
Purchases from January 2023
I immediately started using them and feeling the difference. Over the years and treatments, my skin has changed from acne-prone and very oily to no more acne, a few sun scaring and a new found permanent dry skin. When my wedding MUA did my make-up test two days before our wedding - call it tight schedule! - she said "your skin is so dry, please drink a lot and moisturise like crazy in the next 48 hours so your make up holds at the wedding" and I was like "oh thank you, I am not oily anymore" not realising dry skin is also an issue!
Lumene works for the skin I have now and brings the moisture and hold I need. Also their products have a freshness to them, I feel like even after using, my skin is fresh and plump. As most of their products are fragrance-free, you immediately sense you are putting something more natural on your face, even if it does come from a lab.
And from then on, I have slowly migrated most of my products to Lumene's. It is an integral part of my morning skincare routine.

With a few exceptions - aka products from other brands I am finishing - most of my skincare routine is from this brand now, either be my serums, mists, moisturisers, eye creams...
My oldest skincare purchases with Lumene - I am also loving their face masks and fragrance-free body cream (unfortunately I don't see it on their website any longer!!!)
More recently, I have started venturing into their makeup collection with their CC Cream - Shade: Tan, Instant Illuminizer, their Matte Lipsticks and their most recent Lip Glow Oil Balms - I bought every shade available and am completely in love with raspberry. Also, it tastes like raspberry!

I don't want to become exclusive and I still will want to go back and try other brands but I feel Lumene is here to last.

My favourite product by Lumeme. I have purchased it countless times at this point. It. smells. so. good! Like an arctic boost on my face!
HELLÄ Moisturizing Micellar Water
Just started using this one and I am loving it! I just wish they had a travel size version.
Nordic Bloom Vegan Collagen Essence
I use this one mostly in the morning. It gives the skin an immediate plump that dries fast enough to go on with my skincare routine
Luminous Moisture Matte Lipstick
I love this collection and their texture on my lips. I have been alternating between 103 Twinflower nude shade great for work, 105 Wild Rose when I am feeling romantic and the 107 Marigold, a beautiful coral I use on weekends
