Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life - Arnold Schwarzenegger

I already knew a little about Arnold's journey, he immigrated to California with the aim of being the best bodybuilder at the time, he won Mr Universe several times and 7x Mr Olympia. He realised the potential of investing in real estate in the US, and became a millionaire before becoming an actor. Arnold set the goal that he wanted to be an actor, studied English, took acting classes, turned down roles that didn't interest him, waited and managed to get into a film that gave him visibility, from then on it was success after success. He defined another objective, in politics and was governor of the state of California. Nothing was random, it was the result of a lot of work, discipline, vision and not giving up.

I watched the Arnold series on Netflix and I was more curious to read the book but still had to finish the House on the Other Side of the Lake (I don't like reading two books at the same time, I finish one and start another).

Jess recommended Audible, it has Audiobooks narrated by the writers.

I installed the App and I'm listening to Arnold, with that Austrian accent and his teachings are sometimes a little old school but they make perfect sense to me. -B

A Casa do outro lado do Lago / The House across the Lake - Riley Sager

I bought this book at Lisbon airport to read a little on the flight to Launda. I chose this book because I like thrillers and mysteries and when I read the synopsis I immediately realised that it was my style.
There is nothing like a good thriller, on the edge of a lake with contemporary glass houses, a near-drowning in the lake, a disappearance, an investigation, secrets, hidden forces and a surprising mystery unraveled at the end!
I didn't know this writer beforehand but I became a fan and am curious to read his other works. -B
