7 Skincare Products I Finished in July 2025: Everything I Used to the Last Drop

I am fluent in several languages and one of them is beauty talk. As a self-confessed beauty junkie (and hoarder!), I’ve made it a personal mission to finish every product I own in my beauty apothecary before cracking open a new one.
It’s a small but meaningful shift toward more sustainable habits, as Project Pan is more alive than ever before among fellow beauty junkies! It also gives me the chance to properly test what truly delivers over time.
Do not forget to tell me about you in the comments: what have you finished up lately? Which product was completely worth your investment? What won't you buy ever again? I always love to read your reviews!

Here are my most recent 7 empties:
WELLNESS
ZENement Melatonin Gummies
I am a big fan of the ZENement brand and speak about it every other month as supplement-taking is an integral part of my wellness routine. These gummies were a life changer and I learned how to make them more effective.

Verdict: this is my second bottle and will rebuy for sure!
HAIR
Salon Line 5-in-1 Hair Cream
Brazilians know how to do curly and coily hair like no one else on this planet and this product is a testament to that. This 5-in-1 Salon Line product is the ultimate multitasker. It was my first time buying it and it served several purposes:
- it can work as a gel to keep your hair without frizz all day long - tried and tested!
- it's an hair cream that helps with detangling - a bit on the heavier side though
- it can also be used as a conditioner during washing - left a great feel on the hair thereafter
- you can apply as an overnight pre-shampoo and wash the day after - I usually use Olaplex or Philip Kingsley as pre-shampoos, but this was a good one as well
- it's an hair mask - very rich and moisturised feel after doing so
I used it mostly closer to washing hair day, when it wasn't as manageable as post-conditioning. It's great to prevent tangling, dryness and to keep my hairdo still during the day whilst looking healthy.
The massive 1 kg package is not luxurious at all - and a bit hard to handle when full-, but it also allows to make major savings and less repurchases.
Verdict: this product works and I’ll purchase again, especially when I don't have my trusty Moroccanoil Hydration Hair Cream in hand

The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density
This product is part of my evening routine, that I apply on my roots after double cleansing my face. This serum is a concentrated leave-in formula designed to support the scalp and give you thicker, denser, fuller-looking hair. The formula is lightweight and offers a combination of peptide technologies alongside a series of plant-based extracts. This formula contains REDENSYL™, Procapil™, CAPIXYL™, BAICAPIL™, AnaGain™, and High-Solubility Caffeine.
I was influenced into buying it by my wedding MUA and have been using it every night for the past month. From reviews, costumers say they can see results after using it for 3-4 months, so I will be patient and also I am going with low expectations as I have scaring alopecia so I don't believe any product can truly change my hair nature at this point but I might as well try.
Verdict: as this is a long term product, I am already on my second bottle. I will try to keep checking for the results.

BODY
Narta Deodorant
I never see people comment on their deodorant on their beauty routines but by now, you might know I do. I usually use Dove's but I also love Narta's products. It reminds me of my years living in France, where it is a major brand. This deo lasted all day long and without residue.
Verdict: Loved it. Will repurchase for sure.

SKIN CARE
Avène B-Protect SPF 50+ Sunscreen
I use sunscreen on my face every day - even when I don't leave the house - and french drugstore/pharmacy products are my favourite. Usually, Avène's Fragrance Free formulas are one of my favourite of all as they penetrate the skin really quickly. Which is super practical as my morning routine needs to be fast! I truly loved this high protection sunscreen with a light skin enhancer. I loved it under make up or for flying solo.
Verdict: will definitely rebuy. Already disappointed I didn't purchase several yet!

Emma Hardie Moringa Light Cleansing Gel
Everybody and their momma have already tried, purchased and raved about Emma Hardie's Moringa Cleansing Balm as a powerful make up remover. But I have to confess I have never tried it. I know, I know, I am so late to the party! I have used a Drunk Elephant sample one (will write about it soon) but mostly Clinique's Take The Day Off. I got this Emma Hardie sample and didn't feel it's effectiveness.
Verdict: I was not convinced by the cleansing gel. I might try the hard balm soon enough.

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
I do not remember purchasing this primer and being a 15mL-size, I think this was offered along a purchase, maybe with Cult Beauty. I have to confess I don't love the product as it seems to shed from my face in peel as soon as it dries on my skin before applying my make up on. It does keep my make up on all day, but at what cost...
Verdict: It’s a cult favorite, but I wasn’t a fan of the flour-y texture. Not a repurchase for me.
