## HAIR

### Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Yogurt Shampoo + Conditioner + Leave-in

I bought this trio last year and used it, interspeeded with other hair products, in the past 12 months. I must confess I had heard a lot about Shea Moisture in the past decade as a great reference for Afro/Curly hair. I feel that my hair was nurtured after usage but I had a hard time with the texture and how it did not feel more detangled than ever before as other products do. I do not intend on rebuying.

### Moroccanoil Treatment Oil

I go through one every other month since 2012, I love putting a few drops with my hydrating or detangling cream. Will rebuy, always.

### Moroccanoil Hydration Styling Cream

Already spoke about this one [a few months ago](https://www.thesignaturejess.com/beauty-afro-curly-hair-essentials-march-2024/), it's one of my favourite creams ever. I go through one every other month or every quarter. Will always rebuy and stock it.

## BODY

### Feno de Portugal Deodorant

This is a Portuguese brand I discovered a few months ago and they have hygiene products such as deodorants, shower gels and soaps. I enjoyed this one and felt fresh all day. Would rebuy if necessary.

### Dove Cucumber & Green Tea Deodorant

If Dove launches a deodorant, I try it. And I have been using the cucumber line for years and it is my favourite. It doesn't fail me even in the most scorching Angolan summer days. I do rebuy this in spray and roll-on very often.

## NAILS

### Essie Apricot Nail & Cuticle Oil

Love this oil. I have a Sunday Nail routine where I remove my nail polish, remove my cuticles (I am rubbish as it but I do my best), I file my nails, apply three coats of nail polish ([**Eternal Optimist**](https://www.thesignaturejess.com/beauty-review-of-products-march-2025/) or Fifth Avenue, both by Essie), a coat of speed setter and when the whole process is done, I rub my nails and cuticles with a bit of Apricot Oil. I love how my nails feel fresh and ready to tackle the week with this routine. I do not have the most beautiful nails every but doing the same process week after week makes me feel more confident about them. Will rebuy.

## SKIN CARE

### Clinique Take the day off Make up Remover

Just tried this sample in July for the first time and I liked it. It made me buy the full size version afterwards. It focuses on lid, lashes and lips make up and this is where I need products to be effective on without affecting my eyes.

## MAKE UP

### Clinique Quickliner for Brows Eyebrow Pencil 04 Deep Brown

I thoroughly enjoyed this product. As I have lots of gaps in my brows, I have been using and perfecting my brow pencil usage in the past few years. And it truly does frame my face very nicely. The only downsize is how fast I go through a pencil, I need to make a stash! [In my latest trip to Cape Town](https://www.thesignaturejess.com/cape-town-in-a-nutshell/) I looked for it at several beauty counters at the V&A Waterfront but couldn't find any as Clinique doesn't carry brow products in South Africa. If this is true, WHY???!!! Will rebuy online then.
